Local Chiropractors Donate Therapeutic Exercise Balls to Otsego Class

Dr. Sandy and Dr. Jeremy with some of the students of Jake Scott's 4th Grade ClassJake Scott's fourth-grade class at Otsego Elementary School recently brainstormed ways to earn money so they could purchase exercise balls. Their idea came after talking with Scott and Principal Erin Talley for ideas, and one was to consider a donation.

The district's Grant Development and Charitable Giving Coordinator Jeff Gongoll was then contacted, and he called Drs. Sandy and Jeremy Rebrovich of Ideal Health Chiropractic. "They were very receptive to support the teacher’s needs and contribute to improving the health and wellness of the students," said Gongoll. Sandy and Jeremy Rebrovich delivered 32 balls, valued at $1,200, on Feb. 7.

"We're pretty passionate about helping kids and helping families," said Jeremy Rebrovich. "Your posture is the window to your spine and your nervous system and we've seen some good research that says that exercise balls lower incidents of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and improve test scores."

Dr. Rebrovich Asks some important questions of interest to Elk River residents - Chiropractor Elk River Dr. Rebrovich Asks...

Where do most Elk River residents get their first subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Elk River newborn.
Why do so many drugs require a prescription?
Because they can be dangerous? I chose a chiropractic career specifically because it avoids artificial means of pain relief. Our Elk River chiropractic practice attracts health-conscious families that prefer a safe and natural solution. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
